Welcome

The organizing committee has the pleasure of inviting you to attend the 7th International Symposium on Molecular Aspects of Catalysis by Sulfides (MACS-VII) to be held May 22 – May 26, 2016 in The Netherlands. The venue will be the Zonheuvel Hotel and Congress Centre in Doorn near Utrecht.

The central theme of MACS-VII will be “New developments in sulfide catalysis: Meeting industrial needs in a fast changing world”.

You are invited to register and submit your abstract for an oral or poster contribution. The deadline for submission of an abstract is October 15, 2015.

The scientific program will consist of the following main topics:

  • Synthesis and novel materials
  • Advanced catalyst characterization
  • Kinetics and Enhanced Experimentation
  • Computational catalysis
  • Hydrotreating in practice
  • Bifunctional catalysis – Hydrocracking and Dewaxing
  • Alternative feedstocks – Biomass, Shale Oil/Gas, Residue
  • New Developments – Photocatalysis & Electrocatalysis
